The Invisible Hours is something quite different and very special indeed, a new genre that makes use of the Playstation VR in a way that I hoped would appear ever since I played the awful Dactyl Nightmare VR game back in the 90’s and imagined the possibilities.

Gameplay:
The Invisible Hours can be played in either one of two ways or a combination thereof. You can either highlight an individual and automatically follow them around, jumping to different locations as if watching a movie, or point to where you want to move and do whatever...

A new Game Show style quiz game from the makers of Buzz has hit the PlayStation 4 and I, along with my family full of cheaters, take it for a spin in this review.

Gameplay:
It’s Quiz Time uses the Dualshock 4 controller in the Solo Quiz mode and an Android or iOS device in the others. Similar to the way the recent PlayLink games work, this one requires players to download the It’s Quiz Time: Companion App. To join a game you don’t have to be on the same WiFi network. Instead, you enter the Game Lobby number and away you go.

This is where an unexpected player joined our game for a few minutes, probably by pressing a wrong digit. It also means people...

Gameplay:
School Girl/Zombie Hunter isn’t trying to be the Citizen Kane of games, it’s campy and it’s well aware of it. The plot jumps right into the thick of things, with the girls’ school being invaded by zombies with little to no explanation.

Oddly enough, the girls don’t seem all that disturbed by the sudden zombie invasion as their survival instincts kick in and the action begins.

The plot is thin and does little to build the world. We don’t really get much in terms of answers, instead everything relies on the gameplay for better or worse.

This is a third person shooter with bad controls for a modern shooter....

Gameplay:
The original Outcast released in 1999 and was considered revolutionary for being one of the first open world adventure games of the 3D era.

Being a PC exclusive, it might have been overlooked by many. It also happened to release a few years before Grand Theft Auto III, which ended up turning the open world genre into a juggernaut and may have overshadowed the accomplishments of Outcast.

Eighteen years later, Outcast has received a makeover with enhanced visuals and the ability to finally play the classic game on a console.

You play as Cutter Slade, a former Navy SEAL, on a mission to retrieve a probe that was accidentally...

Sad news today, Guerrilla Games announced that the online servers for both Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 will be decommissioned on March 29th, 2018. The single player campaigns will stay intact, but the online multiplayer and online functionality for those games will no longer be accessible.

Here is the official statement from Guerrilla Games:

“On March 29th, 2018, after more than six years of operation and countless battles between the ISA and the Helghast, the online servers for Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 will be decommissioned. The single player campaign for both games will remain accessible, but online play and related functionality will no longer work.

As we near the end of the online lifecycle for Killzone 2 and Killzone 3, we’d like to express how grateful we are for all the support and feedback we’ve received from the community over the last eight years. Your enthusiasm is what drove us to hone our craft and grow as a studio. We hope you enjoyed playing Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 online as much as we did creating them.”

The Killzone franchise has been an important aspect of the PS Nation community with game nights and clans starting when Killzone 2 launched. Heck, I wouldn’t be a writer for PS Nation if I hadn’t got involved with the PS Nation Killzone 2...

Mulaka is an action adventure game coming to the PS4 that explores the mythology of the Tarahumara of Northern Mexico. The Tarahumara people were considered superhuman because of their athletic ability and Mulaka looks to dive into the lore of these indigenous people with the help of Tarahumara leaders, historians and culture experts.

To see how serious Lienzo (developers) are taking this subject matter they have been releasing short documentary style videos that can be seen below in three parts.

Mulaka is set to release on the PlayStation 4 in early 2018, you can hear Josh’s thoughts on the game on the podcast that was recorded during the PlayStation Experience.

Despite being a little cliche and having just okay combat, Nights of Azure had a unique style and a good focus on a lesbian relationship that helped it stand apart.

My hope was that a sequel would be able to build on the good parts of the first game while enhancing the mediocre parts.

Sadly, Gust has opted instead to rehash some parts of the first game while cheapening others to make a game that, while enjoyable, didn’t live up to my expectations.

The first game’s story focused on a half-human, half-demon named...

Some great news for anyone who has not yet picked up Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Check out the brief press release below for details.

Today we’re happy to announce a free trial for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Starting today players can download the free trial on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and play through the entire first level of the game. Should players choose to upgrade to the full version of the game, their save data will carry over.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus launched on October 27 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, to widespread praise from the critics and community.

Wolfenstein II sends players to Nazi-controlled America on a mission to recruit the boldest resistance leaders left. Players will fight the Nazis in iconic locations such as small-town Roswell, New Mexico, quarantined New Orleans, and a post-nuclear Manhattan. Armed with an impressive arsenal of fully upgradeable retro sci-fi weaponry, including the all-new Dieselkraftwerk, players can unleash new abilities to blast through legions of advanced Nazi soldiers and über soldiers in this definitive first-person shooter.

I’ve always said that when this (PS Nation) isn’t fun anymore, I’m done. Well folks, I’ve realized over the past few months that this really isn’t fun for me anymore. My new job requires more of my time than past jobs, and with my left hand not working well, my gaming and writing have severely suffered. I’m finding it incredibly difficult to even effectively play a video game anymore, and well, that’s kind-of the core of what we’re doing here. I’m always behind no matter what it is, and quite frankly, my heart’s just not into this anymore.

The other problem that I’m dealing with is the fact that my Neurologist(s) warned that I “might” suffer from Depression after my stroke, and unfortunately, that’s become my reality. I haven’t revealed this to anyone (not even my Parents) but I think that it’s important for people to know how much your mental health can affect your life. I’ve seen professionals, but it’s starting to seem that there isn’t much that can be done because of the part...

You might recognize the protagonist here from an older and slightly different platformer called Max & the Magic Marker that made the player draw in and manipulate the gameworld.

In Max: The Curse of Brotherhood our little hero comes home from school and finds his brother Felix has messed up his room, and so in anger, Max turns on his laptop and searches for “How to make your brother disappear.”

Luckily the search results aren’t macabre or too nefarious, but there is a spell that surprisingly works and banishes his brother to a...

Before I get into the main part of the Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back review I want to inform you of the Bubsy history.

The anthropomorphic bobcat became Accolade’s mascot because, at the time, everyone wanted in on the Mario and Sonic craze.

In 1993 the first Bubsy game arrived on the Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, and then later on the PC. A few gaming sites gave it top marks but many critics and fans since went on to complain about the imprecise physics, level design, and collision detection.

Some say the sequel was a better...
