Beyoncé and Jay-Z already won the weekend, but they’re still not taking their feet off the gas. The Carters dropped a new singled “SALUD!” that wasn’t on their Internet breaking Everything Is Love album.
Jay and Bey stunt heavy over yet another Cool & Dre production (and Jay-Z). The Miami production duo’s fees surely just went up, again.
Hope you didn’t get rid of your TIDAL subscription. Listen to “SALUD!” below.
Oh yeah, Everything Is Love is now on Apple and Spotify, too.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z effectively stunted on the masses this weekend with the surprise drop of their new joint project, Everything Is Love, but initially, it was only available on TIDAL. Now, the record is enjoying a wider release after Spotify and Apple Music both feature the record much to the delight of fans of the power couple.
“Patiently waiting for my demise/’Cause my success can’t be quantified/If I gave two f*cks – two f*cks about streaming numbers/Would have put Lemonade up on Spotify,” Queen Bey famously rapped on the track “NICE” featuring Pharrell Williams. Keeping true with that lyric, Lemonade is still nowhere to be seen on the Spotify platform but Everything Is Love is.
Under the group...
The streaming wars just got a bit more exciting today thanks to Apple’s latest move by teaming up with one of Hollywood’s most prominent players.
The tech giant announced in a statement that it has officially signed Oprah Winfrey to a multi-year deal. Apple did not go into much detail regarding Winfrey’s new role but did reveal “together, Winfrey and Apple will create original programs that embrace her incomparable ability to connect with audiences around the world. Winfrey’s projects will be released as part of a lineup of original content from Apple.”
Apple’s signing of Oprah could be its answer to Netflix landing the Obama family for a multiyear production deal as well as inking a deal with Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes. Oprah joins Steven Spielberg, Jennifer...

SZA apparently received a bit of bad news weeks ago when she shared via social media that her vocal chords were permanently damaged. With the help of experts, the Top Dawg Entertainment songstress was able to reverse the course on her issues and tweeted out her voice is back to normal.
“Thank u to the incredible team of Doctors and vocal technicians that have taken time to see me over the last few weeks in every city. I’m blessed to say my voice is not permanently damaged and i’ve been working daily to get back. Slowly but surely,” SZA tweeted on Sunday (June 17).
It was the end of a series of tweets from SZA thanking fans for supporting her through the tough journey. She made mention she would be joining headliner Kendrick Lamar at the Firefly Music Festival in Delaware Sunday night.
Congrats to SZA...

Tekashi69‘s rapping skills are debatable, but his talents as a troll are exemplary. However, the Bushwick rapper is reportedly under investigation for the very serious case of Chief Keef being shot at while he was in New York.
Law enforcement sources say NYPD wants to see if Tekashi has any connection to the 2 men who shot at Keef outside the W Hotel in Times Square. 6ix9ine was in L.A. at the time of the shooting, but we’re told cops want to know if he ordered the hit.
We’re told NYPD has 2 suspects based on surveillance video, and know they stalked Keef the night of the shooting — first showing up at China Chalet restaurant where Keef was hanging downtown … then jumping into a dark-colored Ford Econovan.
After driving to midtown, we’re told the suspects parked the van around the block from the W and walked to the hotel to wait for Keef. When the rapper walked outside with a friend to smoke a cig, the suspects pounced. Keef and his friend heard shots and saw a muzzle flash.
As we reported … the shooters missed, hitting only a nearby sign. We’re told the suspects fled...

Rudy should be better than this. But alas, Keshia Knight Pulliam has dragged her ex-husband, former NFL player Ed Hartwell, in rap song form.
The Jasmine Brand first reported that woman we first loved via The Cosby Show is rapping on her brother Kofa’s song called “Cipher” from his new project Heat Rises 2.
Besides a jab at Donald Trump’s hair (she worked with the buffoon in chief on Celebrity Apprentice), she aimed bars at her baby daddy.
“My baby daddy hit the switch up, I knew I should’ve got a prenup,” spits the 38-year-old actress under her “Peaches” rap moniker.
That is all. See for yourself below.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z effectively broke the Internet with the surprise drop of their excellent joint album, Everything Is Love. However, shortly thereafter the chatter also included the idea that Nas took an L since the Carters stole all the thunder of the release of his new album, Nasir.
The Queensbridge rapper’s cause wasn’t helped by the fact that his album hit streaming services late.
So while there is no evidence that Jigga and God’s Son are suddenly beefing again, the thought of Hova and Bey crushing Nas’ moment was too petty enough not to flip it into jokes and memes.

Rich The Kid was the victim of a home invasion that sent him to the hospital after suffering a beating. The rapper’s girlfriend, Tori Brixx was also attacked and has relayed that night’s events, while denying that she was involved in setting her boyfriend up.
From the looks of the photos that TMZ shared, Brixx got hit and bruised on the right side of her face, including a gash that required stitches.
The model and DJ took to social media to give her side of events. Apparently, her sister was also present in her apartment when five goons ran up in the spot.
“This was some real sh*t,” she explained on Instagram. “I hear my sister screaming in the back. My sister screaming. They like, ‘Bitch don’t move’ and I got a long gun in my face. I can’t move. I don’t know if she’s getting raped. I don’t know, I just hear her screaming.”
Currently, the LAPD have no suspects but they are investigating the crime as a home invasion.
However, Rich The Kid’s ex-wife says she hands if she ever sees Tori—accusing her of lining the rapper up for the jux.
We knew Hova was up to something since he hasn’t had a shape up in a long minute. Today (June 16), Jay-Z and Beyoncé aka The Carters dropped a joint album called Everything Is Love.
Of course, it’s a Tidal exclusive for now.
Jigga and Queen Bey released a lean 9-track album to set your summer off and shuffle everyone else’s release dates.
First up is a video for track no. 2 aka “Ape Sh*t.” The visual was shot at the Louvre in Paris, May 2018 and directed by Ricky Saiz
You stream the full album below. Shout out to everyone scrambling to get Tidal right now.

Nicki Minaj caught a heavy bout of criticism after fans who read her ELLE July cover story article believed she might have taken shots at sex workers and women who promote sexy images via Instagram. In a profanity-laced response, the Queens superstar fired back on the critics as only she can.
“I don’t know if I’m doing the same thing they’re doing, because I’m selling sex appeal,” Minaj said in the interview. “So I can’t look down on these girls. I may not be having sex with people, but I’m still selling sex appeal.”
In context, Minaj appeared to be mulling over what...

Nas had the world on notice with the listening party and live stream of his 11th studio album Nasir, produced entirely by Kanye West, on Thursday (June 14) ahead of a slated Friday release. Hours went by before the album was uploaded to the various streaming services well after the patience of long-waiting fans had been tested.
Much like with Kid Cudi and Kanye West’s Kids See Ghost album, an epic listening party was held for the record in Queens with Yeezy, his wife Kim Kardashian, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, and several media outlets in attendance. The early returns on the record were largely positive and there was a heavy expectation that the record would be available to the masses at the turn of midnight.
However, it would take nearly all of...
Gucci Mane sure does love them pool parties and he’s not gonna let a little thing like cold weather from throwing such a soiree.
Linking up with Hoodrich Pablo Juan and Yung Mal for the visuals to “Yeah Yeah,” Guwop and company have some poolside fun with lots of bikini-clad women while snowflakes fall from the sky. We know it’s CGI snow but it’s still a pretty cool concept.
On another side of town 2 Chainz links up with Jay Park to enjoy some fine Asian cuisine and finer Asian women in the clip to “SOJU.”

Juelz Santana finally scored a legal win. A judge modified the rapper’s bail conditions in his gun case to allow him to tour.
However, there are a few catches. One being that Juelz’s mom has to go on the road with him.
Reports the Associated Press:
Rapper Juelz Santana can go on tour while he’s facing weapons charges, providing he’s monitored by an electronic ankle bracelet … and mom.
A federal judge on Friday modified the bail conditions for Santana, whose real name is LaRon James, to allow him to play the first five shows of his upcoming 15-city nationwide tour.
Among the conditions: that Santana’s mother accompanies him on the trips, that he drives instead of flies and that they don’t travel with other members of the tour.
In court Friday, Santana told the judge that his mother, who wasn’t in attendance, had consented to...

Exploitation of all things urban are expected as pop culture continuously hops on whatever lemons we turn into lemonade. But American Greetings went overboard when they decided it would be cute to release some “Baby Daddy” cards for Father’s Day which featured a Black couple kissing on the front of the card.
Yeah, we’re not sure who thought this was a good idea, but American Greeting and Target saw nothing wrong with the card. Needless to say the backlash was swift and though the words “husband” and “father” were a part of the inside message, everyone knew which audience this was aimed at and what it implies.
Looking to clean up the mess they spilled, American Greetings pulled the card from Target and issued an...
